HRSensor Motorized Potentiometers

HRSensor Motorized Potentiometers are used in a variety of industrial automation and process control applications such as speed controls, flow meters, tensioning motors, etc., by allowing automatic remote control in addition to use of a manual control knob. A geared servo motor, slip clutch and single or multi-turn High precision potentiometer form the motor pot. The different gear boxes in the motorized potentiometer enabling run-up and run-down time settings varying from 10 to 300 seconds.

Types of potentiometers technological developments

Until recently, it was believed that potentiometers might be pushed aside in favor of digital devices such as encoders and resolvers.
